This article explains how to use the Page Divider block in Momenta to split an activity into multiple pages. Page dividers allow for clearer structure, easier navigation, and help reduce scroll fatigue for longer content.
Use & Functionality
The Page Divider block is used to create a new page within the same activity. By default, each content object starts with one page divider already in place.
Use this block when:
- You want to break a long activity into logical segments
- You need to separate topics, interactions, or visuals
- You want participants to navigate content via pages instead of scrolling
How to Add and Configure a Page Divider
- In the content editor, scroll to the bottom of the current page
- Drag the Page Divider block into the page to create a new one
- Click Edit Page Divider
- Enter an optional Page Title (displayed to participants at the top of the page)
- Click Save
Note: Do not add a page divider at the end of an activity if you’re finished building content — the last page should end with a content block, not a divider.
Participant View & Navigation
- Each page is represented by a navigation dot at the bottom of the screen
- Participants click “Next Page” to move between pages
- Once all pages are complete, they will see “Next Activity”
- The current page number is shown above the divider
