Create Content Objects

Modified on Wed, 6 Aug at 3:30 AM

This article explains how to create and configure Content Objects in Momenta. Content objects are the foundational elements that make up activities in a journey. You must configure these objects before they can be added to the journey flow.

What is a Content Object?

A Content Object is the text, media, or interactive activity that participants engage with in a Momenta journey. These are often referred to as "activities."

TIP: Store your content objects in clearly named folders inside your client collection. This makes it easier to link them to journey modules later on.

Creating an Activity (Content Object)

  1. Navigate to the correct folder inside your client collection
  2. Click the “+” icon next to the word Content
  3. Select “New Content” from the dropdown
  4. You will be taken to the Content Settings page

Content Object Configuration Settings

  • Content Title:Internal name for your content. Not visible in the journey, but it may appear in:
    • Resources
    • Homepage custom content
    • Discussion threads
  • Description: Optional internal description for context
  • Languages: Select default language (Note: this does NOT auto-translate content)
  • Points: Add completion points if your journey uses scoring
  • Expected Duration: Estimated completion time in minutes
  • Resource Toggle: Switch ON if this content should appear under the Resource tab
  • Content Object Type: Select a type from the dropdown list (e.g., Activity, Resource, Quiz)

Once all fields are configured, click Create to save your new content object.
