Momenta includes a Template Editor to help authors build content more quickly by inserting pre-built block layouts into content objects. These templates can be added, edited, and customized like standard content blocks.
Overview
Templates are pre-configured content structures designed to speed up the activity creation process. Once inserted, templates can be customized like any other content block.
The templates include text, images, media, and layout guidance to maintain consistency across client journeys. You can use them as-is or modify as needed.
Available Templates
- Text & Image (Left-Right)
- Text & Image + Bottom Text Block
- Text & Image Summary (Left-text start)
- Text & Image Summary (Right-text start)
- Text & Video
- Nested Content – Tabs
- Nested Content – Carousel
- Multiple Input Fields
- Home Page
- Home Page with Overview Content
- Ranking Page
- Go-Do Page
How to Use Templates
- Create a new content object in the correct folder
- Enter the content editor for that object
- On the right-hand side, locate the multi-layered template icon (below the content block and layout icons)
- Click to open the template drawer
- Choose a layout and click to insert it — it will be added below your most recent block
- Edit any text, images, or inputs as needed
Templates behave like standard blocks once added and can be moved, deleted, or customized freely.
Watchouts
- Templates with text input fields are limited to 250 characters by default
- This character limit is not easily editable and may require replacing the block manually
- Always test input fields to ensure they're fit for your content and participant expectations
- Templates are inserted in sequence — you cannot insert them between blocks mid-flow without rearranging
Visual Aids
- Template Panel Icon in Editor
