Collections on Momenta

This guide explains the two types of collections in Momenta—Standard and Client—and how they are used for authoring and managing learning programs.

Overview

Collections are the foundational organizing units in Momenta. They determine where journeys live, what branding is applied, and who has access. There are two types:

  • Standard Collection – For pre-built BTS journeys and reusable content
  • Client Collection – For custom programs built specifically for individual clients

Standard Collection

The Standard Collection houses all BTS standardized content. This includes:

  • Reusable journeys like Coach OS, Leadership Compass, or Total Access
  • Pre-written activities such as videos, Go-Dos, or Hexagons
  • Standard templates for messaging and onboarding

You can copy content from the Standard Collection into a client journey and modify it as needed. This helps accelerate build time and ensures consistency across programs.

Note: Updates made to the Standard Collection will not affect copied content unless it is directly linked rather than duplicated.

Client Collection

The Client Collection is where all live, client-facing journeys reside. These collections are customized for the client with:

  • Client logos and brand colors
  • Tailored language and region-specific content
  • Private access for assigned Admins and Authors only

Most program building and participant management occurs here. Content can still be copied or linked from Standard Collections for reuse or customization.

Note: You will only see Client Collections that you've been granted access to. If you cannot find a client, check with your local admin team.

Watchouts & Considerations

  • Client collections must be set up with branding and language configurations before creating journeys.
  • You should not manually recreate standard content—copy it from the Standard Collection to ensure accuracy.
  • Linked content from Standard Collections will automatically reflect future updates. Copied content will not.
  • If you need access to a specific client collection, contact your regional support team:
