Step-by-step instructions for resetting participant data in Momenta — including full journey resets and selective resets for elements like Isomer, MBIR, or Bench Feedback.
Overview
In Momenta, participant data can be reset either fully (entire journey) or partially (specific features only). This is helpful when testing locks, troubleshooting errors, or preparing demo users.
You can selectively reset:
- Assessments
- Isomer
- Minisim
- MBIR V2
- Card Sort
- Shadow
- Bench Feedback
Why You Might Reset Participant Data
- To test journey blueprinting (e.g., content access locks).
- To retest an activity or journey from scratch.
- To clear errors or unexpected participant behavior.
- To prep a cohort for live launch after internal testing.
Reset Permissions
Only users with the correct role and permissions can reset data. If you do not see the reset options, please contact:

Watchouts & Considerations
- This action is irreversible — double-check before proceeding.

- Resetting ALL data removes completion history, scores, and responses.
- Blueprint locks cannot be retroactively applied to participants who’ve already viewed content unless data is reset.
