Deployment Checklist

This checklist is for anyone deploying a journey in Momenta. It covers key steps like participant testing, communications planning, platform configuration, and ensuring the client and support infrastructure are ready.


Testing the Participant Experience

  • Set yourself up as a participant in a test cohort.
  • Go through the journey from start to finish to understand flow and structure.


Client & Project Lead Sign-off

  • Ensure the Project Lead and client have tested the platform and provided sign-off.
  • They should also be added as participants in a test cohort for full visibility.


Support Page Customization

  • Update the journey’s support page with the correct support email address.


Comms Planning & Coordination

  • Create a communications plan that outlines all mailers across systems (Momenta, Coach, Outlook, etc.).
  • Confirm whether the client needs to sign off on comms with the Project Lead.


Login Setup & Access Links

  • Determine the login method: Username + Password or SSO.
  • If SSO is used, confirm you have the correct SSO access link to share.


Platform Coverage

  • Identify all platforms in use (e.g., Coach OS, 360, Assessments, Simulations).
  • Check if you need to bulk upload participants into both Momenta and Coach OS.
  • Determine hosting locations for simulations and coordinate accordingly.


Dashboard & Reporting

  • Confirm whether a standard Angular dashboard is sufficient or if a custom PBI is needed.
  • Coordinate with your Momenta journey builder prior to launch.


Participant List Requirements

  • Ensure your participant list includes:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email Address
    • Time Zone or Location (for coach matching)
  • Be clear on who is loading participants and when.


Cross-System Comms Setup

  • Customize and test all communications in each system.
  • Use the Set up notifications on your journey article to validate test sends.
  • Update mailers in Coach OS cohorts to reflect Momenta URLs and disable front-end references.

Coach OS Mailers to Switch Off

When using Momenta Front End, make sure to disable the following Coach OS mailers in your coaching cohort:

  • Welcome to program
  • Reminders referencing the Coach front end
  • Any default Coach URLs in templates

Update Coach OS comms to reflect Momenta journey access and branding.
