Momenta is BTS’s unified digital platform designed to deliver all the critical elements of a learning journey—from kickoff to completion. It serves as the front end for multiple BTS digital products, streamlining the participant experience across learning, coaching, and simulation-based programs.
What Does Momenta Include?
Momenta supports a wide range of journey elements in one place:
- Self-paced learning content
- Prework modules and kickoffs
- Go-Dos / Action tracking
- Embedded Resources
- Session booking (via Coach OS or Global Scheduler)
- EDVs and Participant Surveys
- Coach OS tools (e.g., Bench, MBIR, Cardsort)
- Pulse and Isomer simulations (integrated via Global UI)
- Standard BTS content libraries (e.g., KTB, RLI, Practice Standards – in development)
Momenta as a Front-End
Momenta is the mandatory front-end for several core BTS solutions:
- 360 Debriefs: Cannot be delivered without a front end
- 1-1 Coaching: Momenta is required to deliver coaching programs
- Open Pod Coaching: Used when participants self-schedule their own sessions
- Learning Journeys: For delivering structured, multi-touch learning experiences
Note: Coach UI is no longer supported as a front end. All journeys must now run on Momenta.
Europe-Specific Guidelines
- Manual scheduling is not supported—clients must use either Coach OS or the Salesforce Scheduler for bookings
- Momenta is mandatory as the front-end, even if the client requests manual scheduling
- Global Scheduler currently does not support 1-1 coaching
- 1-1 coaching must use Coach OS for backend + Momenta for frontend
- Digital Enablement can help advise on configuration and setup for Europe clients
