Integrate an Isomer Simulation

Modified on Mon, 11 Aug at 4:24 AM

This article outlines how to integrate an Isomer simulation into a Momenta journey. Isomer simulations are an alternative to Pulse and must be requested and configured with the BTS Mumbai team. Once approved, they are embedded using a special content object in the Momenta platform.

What Is Supported

  • Most Isomer simulations built using the Angular 8 framework
  • Simulations configured for either:
    • Pulse data backend
    • Momenta data backend
  • User login handled automatically via Momenta email authentication (no additional login required)

Not Supported:

  • BA1 (requires legacy support)
  • Simulations requiring a delivery director to process round data

Integration Considerations

  • Not recommended for team-based flows with leaders/followers
  • Each participant must be mapped to an individual track/team
  • Requires setup from:
    • Isomer Developer
    • Excel Developer (for backend scoring)
    • Project Manager from Mumbai (e.g., Prasant)
  • Older Isomer content must be rebuilt using Angular 8 for compatibility
  • Isomer scores can be displayed, but do not impact Momenta progress

Creating the Isomer Content Object

  1. In the Momenta Admin, go to your Content Library
  2. Create a new content object
  3. For content type, select Isomer

This object acts as the portal into the simulation. Final integration will be handled by the assigned BTS Isomer team.

Types of Isomer Solutions

Some commonly used Isomer solution formats include:

  • BA2
  • WiB
  • WiBLite
  • BA1Lite

Note: BA1 simulations are currently not supported in Momenta journeys.

Submitting an Isomer Simulation Request

Request Form: Submit Pulse or Isomer Simulation Request

What happens next?

  1. The form alerts the Mumbai team
  2. A digital consultant is assigned to manage the setup
  3. The consultant will handle coordination, testing, and go-live support

Key Contacts:

  • Isomer Lead: Upendra Nagar
  • Pulse Leads: Jamal Hawash, Ricky Soin

See the Integrate a Pulse Simulation article for more on Pulse-related workflows.
