This article explains how to integrate a Pulse simulation into a Momenta journey. Pulse is a customizable simulation platform used for MBA, MBS, and self-paced leadership experiences. Integration is done via a special content object type called Pulse Flow and typically requires a digital consultant to configure the connection.
- What Is Supported
- Pulse Integration Considerations
- Creating a Pulse Object in Momenta
- Pulse Server Configuration
- Submitting a Pulse Simulation Request

What Is Supported
- MBA (Moments-Based Assessment)
- MBS (Moments-Based Simulation)
- Self-paced Pulse solutions
- Get Togethers(Cascade / MiaB):
- Participants choose to host or join a session
- Leaders use a passcode to start a session
- Participants enter a shared code to join
Not Supported:
- No data pass-through (no syncing of scores, leaderboards, or decisions)
- No ability to push data between Pulse and Momenta
Pulse Integration Considerations
- Pulse is not recommended for team-based (leader/follower) setups within Momenta
- Each user should ideally be mapped to their own team/track
- Leaders must connect first or teams cannot proceed
- Pulse simulations must be modified by both a developer and designer before integration
- Duplicate the Pulse event if it will be used both inside and outside Momenta
Hosting Requirements
- Momenta client server must be whitelisted on the Pulse server
- Use these Pulse-Momenta hosting URLs:
- US: https://pulse.btsmomenta.com/wizer
- Europe: https://europe.btsmomenta.com/wizer
- MOTW: https://global.btsmomenta.com/wizer
Momenta handles the registration to the Pulse server using the participant's email. No additional login is required.
Creating a Pulse Object in Momenta
- Go to the journey’s Content Library
- Create a new content object
- Select New Pulse Event under “Content Object Type”
That’s it! This creates the portal to the simulation. Final linking will be handled by the assigned digital consultant.
Pulse Server Configuration
Pulse events must be configured on the Pulse server to allow embedding within Momenta. This is handled by the digital consultant or Mumbai-based project manager assigned to the project.
No configuration is needed from the journey builder in Momenta beyond creating the object.
Submitting a Pulse Simulation Request
A Pulse/Isomer simulation must be formally requested using the simulation request form. Typically, this is completed by the project coordinator once the project is confirmed.
Submit your request here: Pulse + Isomer Simulation Request Form
What happens next?
- The Pulse team receives your request and assigns a digital consultant
- The consultant will support your team from integration to launch
Key Contacts:
- Pulse: Jamal Hawash, Ricky Soin
- Isomer: Upendra Nagar
For Isomer integration, refer to the Integrate an Isomer Simulation article.
